Governor Cuomo Found Guilty of Sexual Harassment in NY Attorney General Investigation

After 11 claims of sexual harassment made against him, Governor Cuomo of New York has been found guilty in an investigation by the New York State Attorney General Letitia James’s office. After five months, the investigation resulted in a 165 page report finding Gov. Cuomo guilty of sexual harassment. This investigation included both former and current women working in Cuomo’s office and in other positions of state government. In a statement made this morning, Gov. Cuomo denied the results of the investigation and said that, “I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances.” There have been calls for Cuomo to resign since the allegations first started appearing, but those calls seem to be growing louder now that the Attorney General has found him guilty. New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have both called for his resignation. We will let you know if there are any updates.
